Grand Final 1st Oakdale Workers 24 def Campbelltown Eagles 16
The Group 6 Country Rugby League Grand Finals was played at Kirkham Park Camden with the Eagles matching up to arch rivals Oakdale, The Eagles posted first Points through a try to Lale Neemia and Stephen Harding converted to go to an early lead 6-0, Oakdale then hit back with 2 tries and went to a 12-6 lead.
The Eagles scored next when Stephen Harding crashed over out wide but missed the conversion to bring the game back 12-10 Oakdale scored a try in the corner that game them a 8 point led 18-10 with 13 minutes remaining, The Eagles scored another try next to the post when a cleaver kick from Sam Hoare seen Sean Connor dive on the ball and Harding converted and it was any ones game at 18-16 with 7 minutes remaining, with 3 minutes on the clock the Eagles looked like they might of stole the game when Hooker Sam Hoare charged down a Oakdale kick and was 30 meters out with daylight in front of him, it was a gallant effort but he knocked the ball on, Oakdale put the game in any doubt scoring just before full time to run out winners 24-16 in a amazing game played in very hot conditions. Best for the Eagles were John Da Silva, Stephen Harding, Samuel Hoare and Jarryd Eggleton.
Grand Final Reserve Grade Campbelltown Eagles 24 def Mittagong 0
The undefeated Eagles took on Mittagong in the Reserve Grade Grand Final, The Eagles took no time in putting points on the board from the very first set of six, Aaron Egan was rewarded with the try when he got a favourite bounce that seen him score, The Eagles put all the pressure on the young Lions with a strong wind behind them the Eagles maintained all the field possession, The Eagles scored their second when captain Ravi Prakash put Ratha Heak through the gap to score out wide. The Eagles went into half time 8-0
The second half seen the Eagles score in the opening minutes when Mike Fetui scored next to the posts and Mathew Gowman converted to go 14-0, Mittagong then attacked the Eagles but the Eagles defence was outstanding holding the Mittagong side out, the Eagles 10 meters out
from there line they spread the ball wide to see Theo Leato run 90 meters to score under the posts and Gowman converted to get the game to 20-0, the Eagles then had two players put in the sin bin for 10 minutes leaving them down to 11 men, The team dug deep to hold on against the onslaught of attack from Mittagong but the Eagles again scored to get a certain match winner when Jimmy Laullili crossed the line, the Eagles finishing Undefeated Premiers for 2011 Best for the Eagles were Josh Slater, Fred Tevega, Ratha Heak, and Trent Heath. With Ravi Prakash getting the Best and Fairest award.
